Categories open for nominations: Game Creation Awards and Game People Awards
Game Creation Categories
The Game Creation categories will be open for nominations between Thursday 12 January and Friday 3 March.
- Nominations should focus on the preceding 12 month period unless otherwise stated (May 2022-May 2023).
- Individuals or organisations may self-nominate or nominate another organisation.
- Register or login by clicking the NOMINATE button below.
- Complete the online entry form and upload any supporting material. You will need to complete all the required fields before you can submit your entry. Alternatively, you can save your entry and login and complete at a later date. Once you have submitted or saved your nomination you can choose to start another nomination.
- Entries may be edited up until the point of submission; all submissions must be made by Friday 3 March. Please note only submitted entries will proceed to the judging stage. Entering the awards remains free of charge for all categories, however, if shortlisted, you will be required to purchase a minimum of one ticket at full list price.
- The Game Creation categories shortlists will be announced on Monday 3rd April 2023, followed by a review of the nominations by the judges to decide who the winners will be.
Game Feature of the Year
A gamification feature within a slot title that has taken players by storm, either through gameplay, round statistics (number of spins, time per feature etc) or figures on player engagement and retention.
Game Licensed Content
This award recognises the best use of blockbuster IP in a new slot, whether from music, movies, sport, television or beyond.
Game Retro-style
This award is for the slot that has best re-energised a retro theme, such as a video-game great or an eighties’ one-hit wonder.
Game Design & Art Direction
This award recognises the extraordinary skill that goes into creating the best slots on the market, highlighting best visual design and effects.
Game Music / Soundtrack
This award highlights the ever-important slot soundtrack, rewarding attention to detail and the innovative use of sound in gameplay.
Game Mechanic of the Year
This award rewards innovation in slot mechanics that has amplified a title's gameplay to new heights, this could be a brand new introduction or an improvement to an established mechanic.
Game People Categories

Product Manager
This award recognises a product manager that has championed excellence across all areas during the preceding 12 month period. The successful individual will have defined and overseen a high standard casino product roadmap and delivered enhanced business value.
Game Designer
This award celebrates the individual who have delivered success across a number of titles, with the nuances of games design ensuring many stand out performances across the preceding 12-month period.
Game Composer
This award highlights the individual that has consistently delivered a heightened gaming experience for players driven by the subtle use of sound across a number of games during the preceding 12 month period.
