Game Creation Categories
The Game Creation Awards will be open for nominations between Tuesday 18 January and Friday 4 March. Individuals or organisations may self-nominate or nominate another organisation.

Complete the online entry form and upload any supporting material. You will need to complete all the required fields before you can submit your entry. Alternatively, you can save your entry and login and complete at a later date. Once you have submitted or saved your nomination you can choose to start another nomination.
Entries may be edited up until the point of submission; all submissions must be made by Friday 4 March. Please note only submitted entries will proceed to the judging stage. Entering the awards remains free of charge for all categories, however, if shortlisted, you will be required to purchase a minimum of one ticket at full list price.
The Game Creation categories shortlists will be announced on Monday 28 March, followed by a review of the nominations by the judges to decide who the winners will be.
Game Innovation
This award rewards innovation in slot mechanics or structure, perhaps an innovative feature or an entirely new type of reel modifier.
Please note, shortlisted nominees for the Game Innovation category will be invited to present their games and answer judge questions before facing a live vote at the CasinoBeats Summit on Thursday 26th May. Winners will announced later on in the evening at the Game Developer Awards.
Game Licensed Content
This award recognises the best use of blockbuster IP in a new slot, whether from music, movies, sport, television or beyond.
Game Retro-style
This award is for the slot that has best re-energised a retro theme, such as a video-game great or an eighties’ one-hit wonder.
Game Narrative
This award is to celebrate the slot with the most engaging gameplay, developed through creative use of the theme to tell stories and take the player on a journey.
Game Design & Art Direction
This award recognises the extraordinary skill that goes into creating the best slots on the market, highlighting best visual design and effects.
Game Music / Soundtrack
This award highlights the ever-important slot soundtrack, rewarding attention to detail and the innovative use of sound in gameplay.
